Party Platters
  • For the olive lover: On a platter, arrange a variety of olives including kalamata olives, garlic-stuffed olives, black olives, etc., and pair with a variety of Heluva Good!® Cheese.
  • Add a festive flair to a cheese platter: skewer Heluva Good! Cheese cubes on wooden skewers and alternate with cherry tomatoes. Want to kick it up a notch? Take a food safe flower pot and place a block of florist foam inside (you can get this at any flower shop), top the foam with washed iceberg lettuce leafs or kale, and then stick the skewers into the foam! For another fun way to serve cheese, try making cheese and fruit skewers.
  • For your next vegetable platter, instead of using a bowl for dip, try this: wash a red or green pepper, hallow out the inside, and fill it with your favorite Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dip. Place it in the center of a vegetable platter for a nice finishing touch.
  • Make a spiral platter! Take a soft flour tortilla, spread the shell with your favorite Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dip, top with a thin layer of shredded carrots, shredded lettuce and Heluva Good! Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese. Roll up the shell tightly and slice into ½ inch thick slices, then serve your spirals on a platter. These are quick and easy and look great too. Quick tip: If the tortilla seems brittle, microwave it quickly to soften.
  • Use fancy tooth picks with your cheese platter! Look for toothpicks with a seasonal flair including mini umbrellas for summer, flags for the 4th of July or holiday colors.
  • For a fun alternative to traditional chips and dip… make your own chips! It's quick and easy. Thinly slice potatoes, place sliced potatoes on a baking sheet, sprinkle lightly with oil, and bake at 400°F until they are crispy (about 30-45 minutes). Serve with your favorite Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dip.
